In 39 immersive weeks (1 year / 780 hours), the Global Fashion Marketing Diploma builds your strategic, creative, and professional foundation for a career in fashion marketing, branding, and communication.
Designed for the global fashion industry, this intensive program blends fashion communication, branding, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, forecasting, visual merchandising, buying, PR, and styling.

PROGRAM DETAILS
The Global Fashion Marketing Diploma is built to give you a strong, practical, and industry-aligned foundation in the business and communication side of fashion.
Through three core modules, you will learn how fashion brands are built, positioned, marketed, and sustained from product and consumer understanding to campaign execution and global retail strategy.
Throughout the program, you will work with instructors who are active in the industry, marketers, brand strategists, buyers, stylists, and creative directors who guide you through every stage of fashion marketing and communication.
By the end of the year, you won’t just understand fashion marketing; you’ll analyze it, strategize it, create it, and present it.
Whether your goal is to work in fashion marketing, digital media, buying, merchandising, PR, styling, or launch your own brand or platform, this diploma prepares you with the skills, portfolio, and industry awareness to succeed.

Recognize principles of design, including colour, silhouette, balance, ratio, and fit, as they apply to marketing.

Explore textile and fibre technologies relevant to different apparel sectors.
Understand branding fundamentals, selling channels (DTC, e-commerce, wholesale, brick-and-mortar), and market positioning

Understand supply chain fundamentals, ethics, and sustainability.
Create industry-relevant tech packs and spec sheets for fashion products.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

High school graduation or mature student status (19+)
Admissions interview (in person or virtual)
Letter of Intent (minimum 250 words outlining your career goals)
Portfolio of 8–12 creative works (digital submissions accepted)
English proficiency, if applicable: IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL 57 / or equivalent

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Julie Berg
Julie Berg brings 25 years of forward-thinking fashion design and energy-fuelled marketing talent to the table. A product development specialist for both retail and private labels, she’s crafted contemporary designer sportswear and accessories collections for small-sized independent retailers and big brands alike.
Nikki Renshaw
Nikki started her design career in her native London, UK where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Central Saint Martin’s school of Art. After moving to Vancouver, BC, she enrolled in BCIT where she completed the Interior Design program, and has been teaching a variety of design courses at several institutions for the past decade. Nikki has extensive experience in television, where she hosted numerous shows back in London, as well as hosting a radio show for over a decade here in Vancouver. She is an expert in marketing as she has been running her own design company for many years and has a large social media presence with over 118,000 Instagram followers. She regularly contributes to design magazines on both sides of the globe and Elle France magazine included her Instagram account @englisheccentrichome in their feature on influencers to watch in 2024. Her work has been featured in Elle Canada, UK Cosmopolitan, Vancouver Magazine, Western Living and The Vancouver Sun as well as other publications. Currently, Nikki is the Program Director for the Costume, Global Fashion Marketing and Interior Design courses at the Cut, as well as running her design business and studying for a Master’s Degree at the Arts University of Bournemouth in the UK.
