Kat Boucher

Kat Boucher developed her love of fashion, thrift shopping and costuming from a young age. Sewing was always a hobby that brought joy to her life. Completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Victoria in 2015, Kat moved to Vancouver to become an Emergency Room Nurse. Now working as a Trauma Nurse at Vancouver General Hospital, Kat has decided to take her passion to create to a new level. She retired from the Canadian Armed Forces after 10 years of service, and completed The Cuts’ Pattern Making and Assembling Technique Course. She is looking forward to gaining more experience in design and the fashion industry, seeing where it may lead. Her other interests include roller skating, acroyoga, drag styling, and international travel.

Katina Sawan

Having rounded out her skills by taking classes at The Cut Fashion Design Academy, she is now a Pattern Maker at The Cutting Room here in Vancouver.

Komal Chharahhan

Komal Chharahhan, founder and creative director of Ginni Gill, is an Indo - Canadian fashion designer. After immigrating to Canada at the age of 19 she started building her drawing skill set. Soon after that she began her fashion career at the Visual College of Art Design where she studied fashion design with a speciality in fashion marketing. With a keen interest in pattern making and garment construction, Komal has acquired a range of expertise. Adept in technical skills such as drawing, computer- aided design and pattern drafting Komal has gained a love for teaching all that she has learned.
