Overview

Nail Technician Full Courses Bundle is a creative journey into the world of nail artistry, where students explore various techniques, trends, and designs to unleash their artistic potential. Through hands-on practice and guidance, participants will learn to create stunning nail art using different mediums such as freehand painting, stamping, decals, 3D embellishments, and intricate designs. This workshop provides a platform for students to express their creativity, enhance their artistic skills, and develop a diverse portfolio of captivating nail art designs.

Required: High school graduation or equivalent or mature student status (19+)

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Master different nail art techniques, including freehand painting, stamping, and using decals, to create unique and eye-catching designs.
  • Explore various mediums and materials such as glitter, rhinestones, foils, and 3D embellishments to add depth and texture to nail art.
  • Stay updated with the latest nail art trends and gain inspiration to develop innovative and trendy designs.
  • Understand color theory and learn to harmoniously blend colors, gradients, and patterns for visually striking nail art.
  • Develop precision and attention to detail in executing intricate nail art designs.
  • Expand creative thinking and problem-solving skills by customizing designs to meet clients' preferences and requests.

    Students' progress and proficiency in the Nail Technician Full Courses Bundle will be assessed through a combination of practical evaluations and creative projects. Practical assessments will involve creating nail art designs using various techniques and materials. Students will be evaluated based on their execution, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to incorporate different elements of nail art. Additionally, creative projects or assignments may be assigned to encourage students to showcase their individual style and experiment with new techniques. Instructors will provide feedback and guidance to help students refine their skills and expand their artistic capabilities.

    Heidi C

    Heidi has been a makeup and hair artist in Vancouver since 2010 after leaving her job as a flight attendant. Her journey started from a makeup counter to bridal to commercial. She has worked hundreds of weddings, has been published over three dozen times and is currently agency represented. She worked for many brands on the market, was a trainer with a French luxury brand and is currently a studio makeup artist with another

    Iki Lee

    Iki has been a professional Makeup artist and hair stylist in Vancouver since 2019. After graduating from Blanche Macdonald, Iki has developed well-rounded makeup skills in beauty, editorial, body painting, and special effects. Iki takes pride in getting her clients camera-ready and flawless for their big events – whether on-set or on a wedding day, she honed her skills working for production, fashion shows, photoshoots, and weddings. Iki is currently a Union member of IATSE 891 and ACFC 2020 and the Head of the Makeup Department for JoyTV. Her body painting work has been exhibited nationwide, including the Museum of Anthropology (UBC), Telephone Gallery (Vancouver), The Bows (Calgary), and Maison Des Artistes Visuels Francophones (Winnipeg). She has also worked on numerous fashion campaigns includes: Casca, Understance, Thom., Montecristo, Vancouver Fashion Week, Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week, and the list goes on. With all those experiences, she finds her true passion is using makeup to tell a story and design a character via the aesthetic and artistry details.
